Great location in centre of Lisbon, comfortable room.
Sometimes a little noisy at night.
Very clean everywhere. The triple room we stayed was nice. There are one main bed room (double bed) and separated small bedroom (single bed). The location of the hotel is very convenient, only few minutes walk from the both metro station and train station (for Sintra). The breakfast is good enough value for money.
Perfect location in a city. The bathroom in the triple room was spacious and renovated. The towels were changed daily. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning. Though hotel is in a busy street, but the room with windows into inside courtyard was very calm, didn't hear any noise from the street. Good breakfast.
No hair-dryer. Some insects bit us (all 3 persons) when sleeping (?)
good location - near 2 central metro station and on central street with numerouus fish restaurans,
don't work wi-hi access into our room on 6 floor.
Hotel staff, services, cleanliness of my room, comfort, value for money, location.
Excellent location, staff very helpful and would be pleased to go again
nice and helpful staff. central position. clean rooms, good breakfast.
a bit noisy if you have the rooms in front of the hotel but nevertheless we slept well.
Very good location. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included which was a bonus. Good selection for breakfast. Staff were friendly. They had luggage storage available prior to check in and after we had checked out. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
nice character hotel in excellent location, lots of bars and restaurants in the same street ,good for public transport, decent breakfast, helpful staff.
There was nothing we did not like about this hotel.
Central location at affordable prices, backed by friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of the centre of Lisbon, on a pedestrian street which is full of restaurants. It is also very close to public transport which made it easy for us to get to the conference venue. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast has a reasonable range of options.
Location is great.
Noisy street, but it is the price of the great location.
Simple room, big enough. Air con, tv, nice bathroom. Fantastic breakfast buffet. Staff did their best to accommodate our daughter (giving us an extra-large bed to fit her in!). Nice lounge with free internet. Excellent location. Fabulous value for money.
No view, air con unit humming outside our window - but we didn't mind for the price.
The hotel is perfectly located for anyone who wants to see Lisbon's old city. Easy access to tourist info, metro, train and a variety of restaurants. Taxi to almost anywhere you want to go in the old city, including the airport for 10€ or less. Easy walking distance to most of the major tourist sites within the city. Excellent value.
Internet was available, but sometimes difficult to access from the room
The position of this hotel can not be beaten and I would recommend it for this reason alone. The room and rate was very acceptable. The coffee at breakfast was the best of any hotel in Portugal that we stayed at!
There were 3 people attending the desk in the 6 days that we stayed there. The one guy was realy friendly and helpful, another was acceptable, but the third guy was unfriedly and unhelpful. For example, when I asked for a stopper for the bath he said we must take a shower (over the bath, there is not a seperate shower) because it happened that people flooded the bathroom and that caused a lot of problems. I am sure that this is something that can happen from time to time (in a private house or hotel) but it realy sounded quite rediculous to say this in an unfriendly and unapologetic way to a hotel guest who certainly is within her rights to expect to be able to take a relaxing bath rather than an uncomfortable shower over the bath.
